We have been thinking a lot about how details and elaborations help bring our writing to life and help our reader to make the movie of your writing in their head. Please read the following passage and follow the directions on the bottom to write dialogue for the passage in schoology. 
7th Grade:
I can develop complicated story elements: perhaps contrasting the character’s thinking with his or her actions or dialogue. I can develop the central character’s relationship to other characters. I can show character flaws & strengths to add complexity. I can use details to develop a lesson or theme.
