Thinking about our reading of Private Peaceful, make an inference, how do you think that the Peaceful brothers, Charlie and Tommo are going to be affected by their government going to war?

Goals of the week:

7th - I can identify types of conflict in both current and historical settings.

8th - I can explain the effects of government's going to war and the impact that it had on individuals.


7th Grade:

• Please finish your types of conflict scenario. When you finish please write a short story with three of the types of conflict in it. We will trade these stories tomorrow to identify what type of conflict you used.

8th Grade:

• Turn in an image of your Road to WWI part 2 questions to schoology
• Continue working on your chain of effects with your table grouping. When you are finished please read Private Peaceful.
