8th Grade: Think about the stations that you went to yesterday and pick one that you found to be the most interesting. What did you learn from that station about Pearl Harbor? What questions or wonderings do you have after what you learned yesterday.

We have been thinking a lot about how details and elaborations help bring our writing to life and help our reader to make the movie of your writing in their head. Please read the following passage and follow the directions on the bottom to write dialogue for the passage in schoology.

Good morning and welcome back to school! I hope that everyone had a wonderful break and is ready to finish the school year strong! Today we are going to be practicing our SBAC on the Chromebooks again. Please make sure you have a Chromebook, headphones, a mouse and your log in sheet.

• Purpose: The purpose of today is to see the different types of testing questions. 

• Please try all of the features - highlighting, notes, audio, etc. 
• Ask questions when you come to a question you do not understand - today is a day that I can help you. 
• Take your time to fully read the questions and carefully write the responses. I will be coming around to help and give feedback on the questions.
